BLAST Slam VIII will be the first big tournament of the 2026/2027 season, as it will feature all the top-tier teams: PARIVISION, BetBoom Team, Team Spirit, OG, Team Liquid, and others.
PGL Wallachia Season 9 is set to begin soon, but the lineup of participating teams there is much weaker than at BLAST Slam VIII.
The BLAST Slam VIII event will take place from September 29 to October 11. The tournament will consist of two stages: it will kick off with an online phase (featuring a group stage, seeding matches, and a Last Chance bracket). Afterward, the LAN playoffs will be held in Malta (October 8–11), where the winner of the main trophy will be crowned.
