This is the first time a streamer replaces a core player and plays through an entire esports tournament. Stariy_Bog will play for 1win Team, as a stand-in for bzm.
The tournament 1win Series Essence III will run online from November 12 to 18. 12 top teams will compete for a $200,000 prize pool.
Bookmaker 1win sponsors content creator Stariy_Bog, the 1w Team, and the 1w Series Essence III tournament, making this roster swap quite understandable.

Satanic from PARIVISION believes that this is done purely for hype. Here is what Alan said in a recent interview regarding the swap:
"If you want to win, you just ban Wisp (Io) in the first phase, and that's it."
Stariy_Bog and his squad previously competed mostly in media tournaments, but now he gets to prove himself at a professional event. At the recent 1win Streamers League #3, his stack took second place, losing 2-3 in the final against Gorgc and Saberlight's mix.
