On September 13, Team Liquid announced that Ace would be leaving their active roster following the results of the previous season. A week later, they announced their new player, Adrián "Wisper" Céspedes Dobles.
Wisper is a mechanically gifted player, but he has spent almost his entire career playing for teams from his home region. The main question will revolve around the language barrier.
The debut of the updated Team Liquid roster will take place at BLAST Slam VIII. The tournament is scheduled to start on September 29.
