On October 6, Valve released a new rule against abuse related to rapid region changes, and the very next day made an exception for BC.GAME Esports. Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev team is now firmly in the Asian region and will be eligible for an invite to the PGL Singapore Major 2026.
Valve’s post on GitHub:
BC.GAME CEO akofocus confirmed on X.com that his team will be eligible for the PGL Singapore Major 2026 qualifiers. Valve notified him of this via email.
Five teams will qualify from Asia for the PGL Singapore Major 2026: four clubs in Stage 1 and one more team in Stage 2. As of today, BC.GAME Esports is ranked second in Valve’s Asian Regional Standings (VRS). With November 2 just around the corner, little is likely to change, meaning s1mple and BC.GAME are guaranteed to compete in the upcoming Major.
Roster BC.GAME Esports:
- s1mple
- Magisk
- Senzu
- mzinho
